Be stayed in 4 nights in a private bungalow and it was really nice. Good breakfast, nice location in Ao Nang, close to the beach and the boats who will take you to islands around in Krabi. If we will stay again in Ao Nang we will stay here. Good value for the money..

Short walk out to main shopping street in Krabi. Private cottage was quite big. The place needs more lighting at night though.

Great resort - very peaceful when in the resort, but it's equally well situated within the buzzing Ao Nang area, so shops/bars/restaurants/beach are only a couple of mins walk out of the complex. We stayed in a private cottage, which I'd definitely recommend. Lovely room and facilities, and a fantastic view of the lagoon and mountain. The outdoor shower is novel, but beware it's cold water only so it's certainly refreshing! (There is an indoor hot shower nozzle attached to the bath for the more wimpy people.)

Breakfast spread very good. Ate in the restaurant one evening and it was pleasant enough, but a bit lacking in charm and atmosphere, so I'd recommend eating at one of the many good restaurants in Ao Nang. For lunch/daytime drinks definitely try the Last Cafe on the beach - it's fab. For good live music and drinks at night (BOGOF), try the Blue Water bar.

Staff at the hotel are perfectly fine, but overall this complex isn't as friendly and welcoming as other places we've stayed. Three pools are all good and there are plenty of sunloungers. WARNING: do not wear white/light coloured swimwear in any of the pools as they'll end up with a lovely green tinge (too much chlorine I think)!! Thoroughly recommend doing a day trip to James Bond Island by longtail boat and trip to Phi Phi Islands by speed boat - both excellent days out. We used the travel agency on the left as you walk out of the Peace Laguna to book our trips and they were good. Getting a longtail boat from Ao Nang beach to West Railey beach is good fun and well worth a visit. If you fancy a massage, have one at the many places on the beach - such great value! Much cheaper than the hotel's spa.

On the beach look out for the cute monkeys in the trees beyond the Last Cafe! Strongly recommend avoiding the Island Safari in Phang Nga (you can visit it as part of some of the tours on offer). We were unwittingly taken here as part of our James Bond Island tour and found it depressing: elephants and monkeys being forced to do all sorts of tricks as a form of 'entertainment'. I suspected they didn't really enjoy their life at this park ... All in all, had a great time at this resort and would recommend it, but have a feeling there may be resorts just as nice in the same area. We were on our honeymoon and it was ideal for such a trip.

A PERFECT HONEYMOON set up with great ambiance! a large room too. What u see if what u get!! Love mour private cottage n the staff are very courteous n friendly. Had a great time in Krabi n those beautiful islands too. :))

We were very happy with our stay at Peace Laguna. Friendly staff. Reasonable room, although we wish now we had booked a cottage as the room we had was on the top floor of the building, the view over the cliffs was nice and peaceful however we had to climb 4 sets of stairs which was pretty exhausting after a night out. Breakfast was ok, however If we were returning we would rather eat out at the many breakfast outlets as the service at the hotel could be improved. Easy walk to the beach. A quick stroll to the shopping area. Generally a good stay and we would return. No problems encountered.
